"I've woken up the last 3 days saying "Ok, only 3 plays today."
Before you know it, 10 plays on the card."
Yeah, same here.
But ya know what? It's also about having fun.
In fact, a big part of it is having fun, no?
And the desire to make more plays increases at the end of a season. You're having fun, and know the last game is fast approaching, so ya open it up a little bit, and end up with ten plays instead of three.
Sure, a profit is the goal, but it's fun going a little crazy sometimes.
It's fun yelling at your TV, "YOU F'ING MORON!" at a player who misses a free throw you need, or a coach who tells his team to foul the other team when his guys are down by 15 points with 5 seconds left, and the made FT's push the game over the total when you have the under.
As they say, "Life's too short - enjoy it."
As long as it's not hurting anyone or anything (like foolishly gambling with the rent/mortgage money for example.)
That's my two cents on it anyway.
So enjoy the rest of your season, squeeze as much fun out of it as you can.
And good luck with your ten plays.
